The front porch was completely re-constructed with new framing, new decking and handrails. The rusted front door was replaced with a freshly painted six-panel new one. The old gable window was replace with a PVC louvered vent to allow air-flow ventelation in the attic area.

The walls, floors, and ceilings were made stronger with additional framing and the whole house was thouroughly insulated.

Obviously, quite a bit of debris was hauled away. A rear landing with stairs was installed along with a package heat pump unit, exterior lighting, exterior GFI outlet, dryer and bath fan ventilation, another gable vent for air flow, as well as extensive work in the crawl space for joist support, foundation repair, A/C ductwork, ground moisture barrier, and floor insulation.
