This was a 1700 sq.ft. home I built for my family in 2005 in Holly Ridge, N.C. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home with 2 HVAC systems to condition each floor individually. Every square inch of this home was utilized for storage or living area. The foundation is steel reinforced poured concrete. The crawl space is an area conditioned with 2 humidistat controlled vent fans and a limited number of regular vents. Even with the A/C duct lines present which normally develop condensation, this crawl space area always remained very dry during humid days. The roof system was carefully designed to be well vented in order to prevent excessive heat build-up and condensation around the A/C duct lines. It has since been sold as of 09/2008.
